For example, Boston was dominant during the regular-season, winning an astonishing 65 games, only to be ousted from the playoffs in the first round (by the eventual championship runner-up, Florida) in seven games. Indeed, only one of the league’s “Final Four” playoff teams was a division-winner. Perhaps things will turn out differently on your tabletop! Colorado’s defense of their 2021-22 title was knocked off the rails by a surging Seattle club in just its second season of play, which then went on to push Dallas to seven games in the semi-final round. But maybe in YOUR project, the Rocky Mountain club gets past the upstarts from the Pacific Northwest—or, maybe Seattle stays on a roll and makes it all the way into the finals! This set was once again a collaborative effort with PLAAY gamer Rob Gallamore, who is not only a passionate hockey and sports board game fan, but also a hockey scout and with many years of experience.
