What if you could run your own, personal football world, free from all the scandal and politics? Well—you CAN! The new 2016 World Football Association cards for SOCCER BLAST Pro Soccer Game will put you in the president's chair of your own fictional world soccer organization, where you can rule your own soccer world the way you've always thought it should be run!
SOCCER BLAST's World Football Association debuted in 2014 and quickly became one of our most popular card sets. Some folks arranged their cards to echo the real-life world soccer championship set-up; others conducted bigger or smaller organizations, based on their interest and time availabilities. Everyone had fun! Two years later, we created an encore card set. We asked fans what they wanted, and based on the responses we got, we've put together an all NEW card set! Each of the sixty national teams from our original release is now represented by entirely new players! It's a whole new universe of soccer stars, ranging from sparkling super-stars to every-day hard-working footballers.
We created the ratings for our fictional universe of players based on the real-life current football landscape. So, the countries who currently host power-house teams will have the same strength on your tabletop, with an "alternate universe" of players! You can expect the Spanish, Dutch and Belgian teams to dominate your action, while teams like those representing Korea, Nepal and Canada will have trouble keeping up. Can Ryan Sullens (card pictured) lead the USA team to global football fame? It'll be up to YOU to find out!
Hold your own global soccer championship, with brackets and groupings that suit your interests. (You could even combine this new set with the 2014 set for call-ups or roster adjustments!) Or, set up an International Alliance, where your choice of teams play one another in any one of a number of "knockout" formats. Don't have time for that? How about a "final four" format, semi-finals and a championship game? With SOCCER BLAST's quick game time, you could complete the entire project in a spare afternoon!
Another option would be skip the "national team" motif and instead draft your own "pro" teams, assign them to whichever cities you like and hold a full season of pro soccer action complete with championships and relegation! With almost 1000 players to choose from, the possibilities are nearly unlimited!
The 2016 World Football Association cards for SOCCER BLAST Pro Soccer board game give you a total of sixty complete soccer teams. Every WFA team includes 15 players and a goal keeper, and you also get a sheet of 32 un-named players for use as call-ups and injury fill-ins.
