In any case, a number of clubs will give them a run for their money, such as Washington, Tampa Bay, New York, Dallas, and the real-life runners-up San Jose. With HOCKEY BLAST's quick game time, you can race through your playoffs at lightning speed to see for yourself if the best team really won!
The 2015-16 Pro Season featured an ample supply of great individual performances, which you can bring to life on your game table with HOCKEY BLAST! Washington's Alex Ovechkin will likely lead your league in goals scored, with Chicago's Patrick Kane, Dallas' Jamie Benn and San Jose's Joe Pavelski not far behind. Ottawa's Erik Karlsson will and San Jose's Joe Thornton will battle it out for the assists crown. The top defenders make it tough to get those points, though—defensemen like Los Angeles' Drew Doughty and Pittsburgh's Kris Letang will earn all-star accolades for their goal-depriving game action, and goalies like Ben Bishop of Tampa Bay, Brian Elliott of St. Louis and John Gibson of Anaheim will be just as tough to score against in HOCKEY BLAST as they are in real-life. The real-life 2015-16 Pro Season featured a couple of new rules wrinkles. In overtime, the number of skaters on the ice for each team was reduced from four to three (and a goalie), a move designed to produce more overtime goals and fewer shoot-outs. Also, face-off rules were changed in the opponent's end to give the attacking team a better chance of winning the puck—again, a move designed to increase scoring. We've come up with suggested game adjustments to account for these situations, included with your new set of cards.
