The 1960-61 Expanded Pro Season for HOCKEY BLAST is, as the title suggests, and expanded look at a memorable pro hockey season of the 1960s. In the days of "Big Six" hockey, before the expansion years and alternate leagues of the 1970s, the gap between "pro" and "minor league" was very narrow. There were just six National league teams and with rosters limited to less than 20 players, only about 100 men could play hockey in the top pro league. That left a lot of talented hockey players looking for places to play. Many of them wound up in the American League. Although the two leagues didn't play each other, this Expanded Pro Season card set will allow YOU to do so! We hope it brings you many hours of good cheer as you travel back in time nearly 60 years to re-live one of hockey’s memorable vintage seasons.

You get cards for each of the season’s “Big Six” clubs, all seven AHL teams (including the Springfield team widely considered to have been the greatest “minor league” team of all time) and instructions for inter-league play, if you choose to conduct it. Presented in team colors, $24 for the printed set, or download the PDF instantly for $13 and print and play right away!
